Talks and concerts

Truth and wisdom can be found in almost any aspect of human endeavour, so at the Study Society we invite occasional presentations from accomplished members and invited guests. These can range from artists and scientists to philosophers and mystics. In the study of non-duality, everything can contribute. Such talks usually take place about twice a term and are open to the public as well as members. They are usually free, but donations may be invited to help with costs.
There are also occasional concerts, ranging from classical recitals by pianists and string quartets, to jazz and Indian classical music. In addition, Colet House often hosts events from other like-minded organisations, many of which are open to the public.
Past speakers have included: the archaeologist Lord Renfrew, physicists Paul Davies and Sir Brian Pippard, artists Cecil Collins and Kaffe Fassett, Fr.Bede Griffiths, Anita Roddick, Dr Peter Fenwick and many others.
For forthcoming talks and concerts, see Events. In addition some talks can be downloaded.
